Flight

Palm Springs International Airport
The most direct way to get to Palm Springs is Palm Springs International Airport (PSP), just 10-15 minutes from most hotels and venues. It’s a small, easy-to-navigate airport with direct flights from many major cities.

If you can’t find a convenient flight into PSP, here are other major airport options:
Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) – 2-hour drive
San Diego International Airport (SAN) – 2.5-hour drive

Rental Cars & Rideshare

If you fly into Palm Springs, rental cars and rideshare services (Uber/Lyft) are readily available. Most hotels and venues, including The Parker, are within 10–15 minutes of the airport.

Palm Springs is very walkable within downtown, but a car or rideshare is helpful if you’re staying outside the area. Many hotels offer complimentary bikes – a fun way to explore the city.

Things to do in Palm Springs

Palm Springs is a great place to sit by the pool and relax, but there are also fun activities and adventures close by. Here are a few we recommend.

Palm Canyon Drive

Palm Canyon Drive, Palm Springs, CA 92264

The main drive with unique boutiques, vintage shops, and art galleries.

Palm Springs Aerial Tramway

1 Tramway Road, Palm Springs, CA 92262 | P: (888) 515-8726

This tram will take you from the dry desert up into the San Jacinto mountains in the world's largest rotating tram car. Worth the views and the shock of suddenly smelling pine trees after just seeing cacti a half hour before.

Palm Springs Art Museum

101 North Museum Drive, Palm Springs, CA 92262

We visited this beautiful art museum last year and discovered a great standing collection of Native American and Western art as well as fantastic rotating exhibits.

Moorten Botanical Garden

1701 South Palm Canyon Drive, Palm Springs, CA 92264

A self-proclaimed, "Cactarium," with 3000 varieties of desert plants on display. Established in Palm Springs in 1938 and just a short walk from the Ace!

Joshua Tree National Park

A little under an hour away from Palm Springs, this National Park with its iconic trees is worth the trip for desert adventurers. If you have the time, check out the funky shops & restaurants of downtown Joshua Tree & venture a little further to Pioneer Town, a standing old western movie lot that's been converted into hip shops and bars.

Palm Springs Yacht Club

The Parker, 4200 E. Palm Canyon Drive, Palm Springs, CA 92264

Nestled within The Parker property, the Palm Springs Yacht Club Spa offers custom treatments and pampering, integrative wellness regimes, and a private pool area set against the backdrop of the San Jacinto Mountains.
